He then became a set photographer for Christian Fechner's films such as Les Charlots or those of Pierre Richard. Then he worked in several professions without a direct link to photography, but still in the entertainment industry: sound engineer, stage manager, etc.

Alain Loison is passionate about artists and their personality.

Now retired, he still does not give up his camera and continues to take photographs, mainly in black and white.

His story with Steeve McQueen is intriguing: Alain Loison is sent by the agency Apis to take some pictures of the Hollywood star in Orly. When all the photographers present disappear on the Champs-Elysées where a rumor has drawn them, Alain Loison is still at the airport, frustrated and with unusable film.

All seems lost, until he finds himself following McQueen at over 200 km / h on a national highway, accompanied by a German journalist who knows exactly where the American actor is going.

Steve McQueen wants to meet the man behind the wheel: he invites him to lunch and offers him 72 hours of exclusivity.

Eventually Alain was offered a job as a regular photographer but declined without regret and returned to his career as a still photographer.

Forty years later, these photographs are emerging from oblivion. Alain Loison collects all the photographic material he created at Apis since today the photographer owns all the rights to his production, and finds, amazed, the images of Steve McQueen.
