Tomasz GUDZOWATY
Il cultive la discrétion. On sait de lui qu’il est né en 1971. Après une licence en droit à l’université de Varsovie, Tomasz Gudzowaty choisit la photographie pour se consacrer aux témoignages sur la société contemporaine. Photographe à la fois classique et humaniste, il a commencé par des travaux sur la nature et, particulièrement, sur l’Afrique avant de s’investir dans des documentaires sociaux, puis dans le reportage sportif.
Ses photos ont été éditées dans « Max Magazine », « L’Equipe », « The Guardian », « Newsweek », « Forbes », « Time » et « Photo ». Il a également publié plusieurs livres. Il a remporté de nombreux prix parmi les plus importants décernés aux photographes, tels que le Word Press Photo, Pictures of the Year, NPPA Best of Photojournalism. Il est représenté par Focus Fotoagentur de Hambourg et Warsaw’s Yours Gallery. Prix
