The Polka gallery and the boutique hotel, Can Albertì 1740, are pleased to present “Fotografía de sus veranos”, an exhibition bringing together three photographers Joel Meyerowitz, Claude Nori and Vincent Delerm.

With Joel Meyerowitz, head for the wild expanses of Cape Cod and its Olympian lights. Between the alleys of wooden villas scratched by sea salt, we discover with him the silent beaches of this peninsula in eastern North America animated by the Atlantic Ocean. This series called "Waterfront" questions the secrets of color by exploring its finesse, its tones and its velvety contrasts to the rhythm of the sun and the elements.

In the second part of the exhibition, the ocean gives way to the Mediterranean. After the publication in 2016 of three books by Actes Sud around his film work, the artist Vincent Delerm, who for several years has been practicing song and photography in parallel, went in search of Italian Summers by Claude Nori.
The Toulousain, known for his images of the Adriatic seaside, answered his call.
“I will search in every summer” is a photographic conversation between the two artists. It is an ode to the flavor of the days when one abandons a Simenon novel for a shortbread kiss, where Sicilian lovers from Nori rub shoulders with a solitary parasol from Delerm. “I will search in every summer,” is the story of an editorial crush.
