Nicolas Comment
Fading was born out of an investigation into an unfinished editorial project by the writer Roger Vailland who, during a stay in the capital of Czechoslovakia in 1927, thought of publishing a sentimental map of Prague. Despite only having found little information concerning the map, Anne-Lise Broyer and Nicolas Comment decided to embark on this project. They followed the paths with a spirit evocative of the literary movement "Le Grand Jeu" and their surrealist taste for "le hasard objectif", or coincidental occurances.Read more

Here is a face that defies time, that erases itself in order to appear new once again, and this is what Prague currently offers us today."
