Amongst the pages of Bowles' writing is a scope of the ancient "International Zone" and its cult locations (Minzah Hotel, Dean's Bar, Café Hafa, etc). The series "T(ange)r" similarly questions the desire to see; such picturesque themes (nudes, still lives) become less and less imposed on the artist and instead appear to summon dreamlike and Orientalist narratives...
