Lek & Sowat

The exhibition "Duography" by Lek and Sowat, the first dedicated retrospective of the street-artist duo, will be held from 2 April to 3 July 2022 at the Atelier Grognard.
The cultural delegation of the city of Rueil-Malmaison has invited the duo Lek & Sowat to organise their first retrospective, "Duography", at the suggestion of the Polka gallery. Working as a duo since 2010, Lek and Sowat share a common taste for Urbex, or urban exploration, a discipline that consists of scouring the city in search of contemporary ruins. Pushing the limits of traditional graffiti, their In situ experiments bring together videos, architectural abstractions, ephemeral installations and self-taught archaeology, creating a modern form of urban land art.
